HyperXtremeSQL™ 2.0.x is compatible with HyperSQL 2.0.x and is available in three versions:

Each version is optimised for the specific environment:
The server S version is focused on high performance multithreaded access.
The workstation W version maximises single thread performance.
The embedded E version is specifically designed for slower embedded processors and solid state storage.

HyperXtremeSQL™ 1.8.1 is compatible with HyperSQL 1.8.1.x and is available in three versions:

Support

Each license package includes some support to help you use HyperXtremeSQL in your application. Support is provided via email. You can pay for additional support when you purchase licenses.

HyperXtreme Licensing

HyperXtremeSQL licenses are inexpensive and available in packages. Separate licenses are available for internal use of the engine by the customer or for redistribution as part of an application or software solution. The licenses are based on the role performed by the computer hosting HXSQL: server or desktop.

Licenses for internal use only (see the End User License Agreement):

If required, one server license can be exchanged with 10 desktop licenses at the time of purchase.

Software updates will be supplied free of charge for one year from the data of purchase. Update service can be extended for 25% of the license cost per year. Each license package can be upgraded to a larger one within 3 months of purchase at price difference.

For all redistribution licenses, including server, desktop, embedded, PDA and CDC versions, please inquire including a description of your application and required number of licenses and link to your company web site. A separate License Agreement with easy terms should be signed for redistribution. Volume discounts are available for larger deployments. Extra discounts are available for high volume redistribution with personal productivity and consumer applications.  Email address hxsql(at)cluedup.com.

Evaluation copies:

Embedded and PDA Evaluation licenses are valid for 2 months and generally available only upon payment for at least 2 server licenses (LIC-002-20-BAS). The payment is refunded when licenses are paid for. We may waive the payment at our discretion to established companies that plan to buy the equivalent 160 embedded licenses or similar volume of other licenses.

Details:

A Server host is defined as a host that has multiple simultaneous connections to other hosts or clients, or that performs a central part in a client server setup. Up to 10 JDBC clients or unlimited web clients can connect to a Server host. Each additional JDBC client requires a desktop license.

A Desktop host is defined as a host that acts as a personal computer.

Each instance of HXSQL running on a server host requires a license.
